OBITUARY
With the death of Mr. Albert A. Smart, of Baker's Gully, the Clarendon-Kangarilla district has lost one of its oldest settlers. He was 83, and was the last surviving member of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Smart, who came to Australia In the ship Lalla Rookh in 1840. Mr. Smart lived all his life on the property on which be died. Members of the family are:- Mesdames F. Swift (Sydney), S. Humphrys (Sea View) and Messrs. Dave and Fred Smart, of Kangarilla.
