MRS. MABEL FLORENCE SMITH
Mrs. Mabel Florence Smith, wife of Mr. Percy Hilton Smith, of Casino street, South Lismore, died in the Lismore District Hospital yesterday morning. The late Mrs. Smith, who was 38 years of age, came to this State from South Australia 15 years ago with her husband, living for 12 years in the Tweed River district and residing in Lismore for the last three years. She is survived by her husband and six children, Ray, Kenneth, Max., Joyce, Sylvia, Joyce and Winnie, There will be a service at the Church of Christ at 9.45 a.m. to-day and the funeral will leave the church at 10 a.m. for the Lismore cemetery.

MRS. MABEL FLORENCE SMITH
Mrs. Mabel Florence Smith, who died on Sunday morning, was buried in the Church of Christ portion of the Lismore cemetery yesterday. The funeral, which was largely attended, left the Church of Christ, Lismore, after a service and an address by Pastor S. Riches, who also conducted the service at the graveside. The chief mourners were the husband, Mr. Percy Hilton Smith, and two of the children. There were many wreaths and among them was one from the aborigines on the Tuncester reserve. Funeral arrangements were in the hands of W. Riley and Son.

Mabel married Percy Hilton SMITH [2363] [MRIN: 788], son of John SMITH [13932] and Unknown, on 2 Feb 1916 in Res brides parents Clarendon, South Australia. (Percy Hilton SMITH [2363] was born circa 1895, died on 27 Feb 1947 in Ballina, NSW, Australia and was buried on 2 Mar 1947 in Lismore Cemetery, Lismore, NSW, Australia.)
