Rilda Raymond and Keith Copas were participants in the wedding party for Biddy Audine & Jack Jennings as per following announcement:
The Advertiser Wednesday 27 April 1938 Bride Wears White And Silver St. Peter's Church, Glenelg, was decorated with dahlias with bows of white ribbon and flowers on pews, reserved for the 100 guests invited to the wedding of Biddy Audine, second daughter of Mrs. Gladys Krantz. of Glenelg. with Mr. Jack Jennings, only son of Mrs. Walter Brain, of Blackwood. The ceremony was performed by Canon H. R. Cavalier. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. W. Levy, wore a silver and white lame gown, the plain bodice being shirred at the yoke and sleeves. The; high neckline of silver was finished with. real lilies of the valley. A long silver girdle was worn. The back panel of the skirt formed a long train. The white silk tulle veil was arranged with a halo of orange blossom. Trails of lilies of the valley were arranged in the, bridal sheaf of cream flowers. Mrs. E. Aubre LeMessurier was matron of honor, and Miss Rilda Raymond bridesmaid. They wore silver lame made on Empire lines, with bands at silver sequins on the boat-shaped neck-lines. The skirts were full and the sashes were silver. They wore haloes of silver lame with small embroidered eye veils, and carried bouquets of flame gladioli and roses to tone. Mr. Neil Neilson (bride's brother-in-law) was bestman, and Mr. Keith Copas groomsman. Ushers at the church were Messrs. A. Oliver and Harold Cashman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Hotel St. Vincent, where pink flowers were used in the table decorations. The bridal party received the guests in the lounge. Mrs. Krantz wore navy blue shot velvet. The navy silk net sleeves were appliqued with velvet She wore a small matching toque and carried a posy of autumn tinted flowers. Black French georgette and black lace with a small black velour toque were worn by the bridegroom's mother. Mrs. Neil Neilson (bride's sister) chose wedgewood blue lacquered satin caught at the neck and shoulders with brilliant clips. With it was worn a short fur cape. Mrs. Allan Oliver (bride's sister) chose white satin patterned with autumn-toned flowers, white ermine cape. Mrs. C. Oliver was in navy georgette and lace, with fur cape. Mrs. W. Levy chose black with red embossed roses worn with a coatee. Black charmeuse with latticed trimmings on the bodice with a silver cape was the choice of Mrs. Henry Cohen. The bride travelled in resida green ensemble, trimmed with pin tucks. The cuffs and collar were finished with cream lace appliqued in gold. Mr. and Mrs. Jennings left on a motoring tour to Victoria. Their future home will be at Blackwood.
