The Rev Stevens officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a sheath frock of brocaded silk marocain. with a train of the same material, lined with shell-pink georgette. Her veil was trimmed with orange blossom. The matron of honour was Mrs. Leonard Walker, charmingly gowned in moonlight-blue brocaded French marocain, and the bridesmaid, Miss Nellie Penn, who wore a rose-coloured frock of the same material. Each wore a smart little black hat, and, like the bride, carried a bouquet. The bride's mother wore a navy wrap over frock of jacquard marocain, and the bride groom's mother a black costume, with a black fur wrap. Mr. E. Robertson was best man and Mrs. George Penn groomsman. During the signing of the register. Miss Doris Beer sang 'Because.' A reception was afterwards held in the Rendezvous Cafe, Glenelg, where items were given by Mrs. David Stewart, Misses Olive Lyons, D. and B. Beer, and J. A. Wood. The bride travelled in a jumper suit of cinnamon wool repp, trimmed with henna, with a hat to match. She also wore the gift of the bridegroom, a sable fur choker.
