Obituary:
Mr. H.A. Smart
Mr. Henry Alfred Smart, sixth son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Smart, of Baker's Gully, near Clarendon, died at his residence on June 18 at the age of 80. He had lived at Baker's Gully all his life. A man of quiet and reserved nature, he enjoyed good health until the time of his death. He leaves a widow, two sons - Lionel Smart, of Clarendon and Theodore Smart, of Reynella - and four daughters - Mrs Rose, of Adelaide; Mrs. Wilson, of Peterborough; Mrs. Turner, and Mrs McDermott, both of Broken Hill. There are 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Henry married Lucy Emma WADE [745] [MRIN: 254], daughter of John WADE [2381] and Sarah [17225], on 29 Nov 1877 in St John Church, Adelaide, South Australia. (Lucy Emma WADE [745] was born about 1857, died on 21 Oct 1939 in Bakers Gully, Clarendon, South Australia and was buried on 22 Oct 1939 in St Judes Cemetery, Brighton, Adelaide.)
