Chronicle Thursday 24 February 1938 APPROACHING MARRIAGES JACKSON- MOYSE. - The marriage of Audrey Yvonne, only daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Jackson, Seacliff, to Reginald William, eldest son of Mr. and. Mrs. W. A. R. Moyse, Malvern, will be solemnised at the Malvern Methodist Church on Thursday, the 24th of February, at 7 p.m.
The Advertiser Friday 25 February 1938 Bride In Magnolia Satin At the Malvern Methodist Church last night, Audrey Yvonne, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Jackson, of Seacliff, was married to Reginald William, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. R. Moyse, of Malvern by the Rev. Robert Stanley. The bride wore magnolia satin made with a deep cowl neckline. The gored skirt merged into a long train. Rows of tiny buttons trimmed the back of the bodice, and a long sash was worn. A circlet of orange blossom held in place her silk tulle veil, and she carried a sheat of pink gladioli and carnations. The bridesmaids, Misses Joyce Stanbury and Joy Hill, wore frocks of pale pink spotted net over rose satin. The, shirred bodices had short puff sleeves and the skirts were very full They wore picture hats made from the same material as the frocks and trimmed with trails of tiny roses, and carried sheaves of pink and white flowers. Mr. Laurie Moyse (brother of the bridegroom) was best man, and Mr. Keith Jackson (brother of the bride) groomsman. A reception was held at the Argosy Palais Seacliff, at which more than 100 guests were entertained. For travelling the bride wore a navy and white georgette frock and sheer coat, white straw hat and navy accessories. The honeymoon will be spent in Sydney.
