Supposed Loss of £161
Cleveland William Perry, wood machinist, of South road, Hilton, yesterday reported to the police that 161 pounds was missing from a wardrobe in his bedroom at 10.30 pm. on Sunday. The police found, no sign of a forced entry into the house. Later Mr. Perry informed the police that the money had been found under a mattress where he had placed it.
