KADINA
The Yorke Peninsula A.H. and F. Society held its thirty-seventh annual show on October 8. It was quite the equal of any of its predecessors. In point of quality the exhibits slightly excelled, a fact which means a great deal when it is remembered that unfavorable, cold, and wet weather conditions prevailed up to the eve of the show. Special trains have been arriving during the early part of the week, bringing large consignments of every conceivable agricultural implement, vehicles of all chapes and sizes, and almost every other trade requisite necessary on an up-to-date farm. The local staff on the railway had a good system of unloading, and the whole of the exhibits arriving by rail had been dispatched to the grounds before dark on Tuesday evening. The show of cut flowers was well up to the standard of country shows, some magnificent pelargoniums calling for special commendation. In this class . . . .
