Obituary:
Mr. Percy Henry Moore, of the Lady Daly Hotel, Hindmarsh, whose death occurred on August 11, was one of the most popular residents of the district. His kindness and genial disposition won for him the respect of all. In his younger days he was a master painter at Port Pirie and other places. He was a good all round athlete, football and running being two of the main sports in which he excelled. He married a daughter of Mr. R. Cartwright, of New Zealand. Mr. Cartwright was the licensee of several hotels in New Zealand and also in the Commonwealth. After Mr. Moore's marriage he decided to go into the hotel business. He conducted hotels at Daylesford (Victoria), Windsor (New South Wales), the Commercial at Wallaroo, the Launceston and Scotch Thistle in Adelaide, and the Lady Daly Hotel, Hindmarsh.
