Theft Of Motor Cycle Alleged
Kevin Taylor, 18, cutter, of Wright street, Edwardstown, was remanded until tomorrow by Mr. Muirhead, P.M., in the Adelaide Police Court Yesterday, on a charge of having, on May 28, stolen a motor cycle, valued at £40. the property of Rex Arthur White. He was granted bail in a bond of £70, with two sureties for £35 each. Assistant Police Prosecutor Bond informed the court that the motor cycle was taken from Raglan street, Edwardstown, on Sunday night, and that parts of it were found in the defendant's possession. He had stripped the machine and abandoned its frame under a hedge at Harcourt Gardens. A large quantity of motor cycle accessories were found at his home, and they would be the subject of two other charges of larceny. The defendant had admitted the commission of the three offences.
