BILBY Joan Alison
Peacefully at Thames Hospital, on 15th February 2014; in her 85th year. Much loved wife of the late Hugh, dearly loved Mum of Denise and Don Lyon, Pauline and Jack Kruithof, Lorraine and Ross Stewart-Bilby. Cherished Nana of Kelly, David, Natarsha, Mega, Steven, Malcolm, Dee and Great-nana Bilby of Dylan, Ethan, Finlay, Connor, Kyah, Charlotte, Aileigh and Edward.
A private family service was held on Saturday 22nd February, followed by private cremation.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Joan's life at 17 Taupata Pl, Kaitita, on Sunday 23rd March, between 11am and 3pm. In lieu of flowers donation to the Far North Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 690, Kaitaia, in memory of Joan.

Joan married Hugh Dunstone BILBY [1378] [MRIN: 468], son of John Frederick BILBY [1334] and May GORRIE [1356], in 1948. (Hugh Dunstone BILBY [1378] was born on 17 Aug 1920 in New Zealand, died on 24 Sep 2004 in New Zealand and was buried in Totara Memorial Park, Thames, New Zealand.)
