The Daily News (Perth, WA : 1882 - 1950) Sat 13 Aug 1932 CONGREGATIONAL Trinity Church In Trinity Congregational Church tomorrow the Rev. N. Richards, E.D., will preach morning and evening. The Cambrian Society will attend the evening service. The hymn singing will be inspirational and of a special character. The choir also will render anthems. The subject of the sermon is, 'Is Religion a Dope for the People?' Mr. Richards invites questions on religious difficulties, which will be answered on a Sunday to be announced. They may be sent in writing to the church vestry. Trinity Church Young People's Society will meet on Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Guild Hall, when the speaker is to be the Rev. Harry Crawford, L.Tlh., who will give an address on 'Letters and Letter Writing.' The meeting is open to all young people.
The Age (Melbourne, Vic. : 1854 - 1954) Mon 16 Nov 1936 REV. HARRY CRAWFORD. Rev. Harry Crawford, formerly assistant minister at Collins-street Independent Church, died in Perth on Friday. Mr. Crawford was one of the lecturers at the Congregational Theological Institution while residing in Melbourne. He was also minister at Maryborough for nine years, and at Garden Vale prior to becoming assistant minister at Coffins street in 1929. In 1931 he left to take charge of the North Perth church, where he was stationed at the time of his death. He leaves a widow and four daughters. At Collins-street church yesterday, Rev. A. P. Evans made reference to Mr. Crawford's ministry.
