Lois, born in Melbourne and came to Western Australia when she was 9yrs, worked in the bank as a young woman but resigned as was the custom in those days upon marrying. Her father was a Minister of the North Perth Congregational Church, Rev Harry Crawford d. 1936 at 52y. Lois' Mum was Maud Ethel Bown.

Lois married Leith Greville RYDER [3438] [MRIN: 1129], son of Norman Charles RYDER [1005] and Doris Mercy NICHOLLS [3437], on 13 Aug 1943 in Trinity Congregational Church, Perth, Western Australia. (Leith Greville RYDER [3438] was born on 22 Sep 1920 in Bunbury, Western Australia and died on 7 Mar 2021 in Perth, West Australia.)
