William Hughes, of Newton Kyme aforesaid (nephew of George Hewes alias Hughes of Newton Kyme aforesaid and grandson of John Hewes of Newton Kyme, by Mary his wife) Executor to the will of his uncle george 1734-7 and witness to that of William Hodgeson 1737, Died 5 and buried 7 December 1781, at Newton Kyme aged 90.

William is placed here as he is described in the College of Arms Pedigree as being the nephew of George HEWES alias HUGHES [18473].

William was named with his brother-in-law William Hodgson as executors and beneficiaries of the estate of his uncle, George Hews [18473] of Newton Kyme, by George's Will dated 8 Aug 1734.
