MRS. E. M. PADDICK
Mrs. Edith Mary Paddick, of 'Yaroona, Kangarilla, wiho died at her home at the age of 59, was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Golder. Her girlhood days were spent at Kangarilla, and when in 1897 she was married to Mr. Seal Paddick she moved to 'Yaroona,' and resided there for the rest of her life. She was a prominent member of the Kangarilla Methodist Church, of which choir several of her family are members. When the women's branch of the Agricultural Bureau was formed, she became a member, and remained an active one until her death. She was also a foundation member of the Kangarilla Women's Guild. She leaves a widower, five daughters - Mesdames Gus Beck (Loxton). Alan Hicks (Edwardstown), and Cecil Smart (Clarendon), and Misses Ada and Hope Paddick (Kangarilla) - and two sons Messrs. Boyce and Ralph Paddick (Kangarilla).
