EVERES -THE FRIENDS of the late MATILDA EVERES are respect fully informed that HER funeral (motor) will leave her late residence, Wandearah, THIS DAY Thursday), at 1 p.m., for the Crystal Brook Cemetery. Rev. E. Goldsworthy officiating. SYMONDS BROS., Motor Funeral Directors.

Passing of a Pioneer
Wandearah's oldest lady pioneer passed away suddenly on Wednesday. Mrs. William Everes had just passed her four score and five years, and had been wonderfully active until her death. She was born in Berkshire (England) in 1848. Her family came to South Australia when the little lady was two years of age and settled near Mount Barker. her late husband was born in Hampshire (England) and arrived in the State at the age of eight. He died 15 years ago. The couple came to Wandearah in 1878 and engaged in dairying. The family still carries on that occupation. There are two daughters, Mesdames B. J. Harris and J. R. Jacobs (Wandearah), and three sons Messrs. W. T. (Adelaide), E. M. (Eyre's Peninsula), and James (Wandearah). There are 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The late Mrs . Everes was much loved in the district. For many years she attended the Methodist Church, in which she took a keen interest. .

Wandearah's oldest woman pioneer, Mrs. William Everes. has died at the age of 85. She was born in Berkshire, England, and her family came to South Australia when she was two vears old, and settled near Mount Barker. Her husband died 15 years ago. The couple went to Wandearah 55 years ago. There are two daughters. Mesdames B. J. Harris and J. R. Jacobs (Wandearah). and three sons, Messrs W T (Adelaide). E. M. (Eyre Peninsula), and James (Wandearah). There are 17 grandchildren and five greatgrand children.
