1931 Vic Marriage DUNN Alma Clarice TAYLOR Thos Loftus Reg. no 4495

Table Talk (Melbourne) Thursday 23 July 1931
Taylor-Dunn
In a clinging ivory satin gown veiled with ivory tulle, Miss Clarice Alma Dunn made a very beautiful bride at her wedding to Mr. T. L. Taylor, of "Dunbrody," Bayswater, on Saturday evening, June 20. The marriage was celebrated at the Baptist Church, Collins Street, Melbourne. The bride, who is the fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs. A. H. Dunn, Moreland, enhanced her slim and graceful figure by having her wedding gown cut on very severe lines with wrist-length sleeves and a V dιcolletage to the moulded bodice. The fulness of tho skirt was inlet with long godets and formed a train at the back. The filmy veil was arranged in a cap over the crown of the head and was held in position by a narrow wreath of orange blossom finished with dainty clusters at either side. The tulle was many yards in length forming an over-train. The lovely sheaf bouquet was loosely arranged and consisted of cream roses, hyacinths and maiden-hair fern. Miss Lola Dunn attended her sister as first bridesmaid, with Miss Elsie Williams. Their becoming frocks of turquoise satin were gracefully fashioned with cowl backs to the slightly pouched bodices, matching scarves, and full skirts hanging from moulded hip lines. Wreaths of small roses wore worn across their hair and toned with the shower bouquets of autumn tinted flowers and foliage, which they held. Lace mittens and silver and pearl necklets and bracelets, the gifts of the groom, were an effective and pretty finish. Mrs Frank West (Viola Grace Taylor), and her attendants form an attractive group. The best man was Mr. J. Skerrett, Mr. C. Langley acted as groomsman. The reception was held in the Greenroom at "The Dell," The bride's mother wore a bottle green ensemble trimmed with black and white coney, her toque of ring velvet matching.
