News (Adelaide) Saturday 10 July 1937 Angel-Dowden Wedding THE Rev. D. E. Dickson will officiate tonight in the Enfield Methodist Church at the marriage of Miss Coral Nellie Dowden, second daughter of Mr. W. C. Dowden, of Prospect, and Mr. Norman Fredrick Angel, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Angel, of Kent Town. The bride, who will be given away by her father, will be gowned in white novelty crepe, with yoke and sleeves of lace. Her hand-worked tulle veil will be held in place with a coronet of orange blossom, and she will carry a sheaf of white and pink flowers. Miss Edna Bolt will be bridesmaid, dressed in pink lace. The gown is slim-fitting to the knees and has a slight train. Her pink picture hat is trimmed with pink and blue flowers, and she will carry a pink sheaf. Mr. Robert Angel will attend his brother as best man. Immediate relatives of the bride and bridegroom will be entertained after the ceremony at the home of the bride's father. The bride's stepmother will wear a navy tunic dress with matching hat and gloves, and an autumn-toned shoulder spray, and the mother of the bridegroom will be in a black dress and hat, and will have a spray of red roses. A tailored tweed suit and brown hat will be worn by the bride for travelling, with a fox fur choker, the gift of her father.
