News in Brief:
Tomatoes on Roadway.-Prosecuting in the Norwood Court today, Sgt. Stewart said that 30 cases of tomatoes were strewn over a roadway when a motor truck, heavily laden with them, came into collision with a stationary motor buckboard. The driver of the truck, Murray Lyall Caldicott, of Ballara street. New Mile-End, was fined L4 with 16/3 costs for having driven without due care. He pleaded not guilty but the court found the charge proved.

CALDICOTT, Murray Lyall. Passed away peacefully at the Murray Bridge Soldier's Memorial Hospital on June 30, 2010. Aged 88 years. Loved and loving husband of Phylis (deceased). Loving father and father-in-law of Anne and Allan, Patricia (deceased) and Rodney. Adored grandpa of Leonie and Kym, Susan, Michelle and Ray, Rhys and Rebecca.
