SEVEN DAYS TO GET WORK.
On Friday in the Adelaide Police Court, before Mr. E. M. Sabine, P.M., Lloyd Mildred was charged with having insufficient lawful means of support.
Defendant pleaded guilty.
Detective Seargeant H. Allchurch said that the defendant was well educated, and until two years ago had lived respectably. Since then he had been idling about the streets and in the wine shops.
The P.M. sentenced accused to two months, and withheld the warrant for seven days to allow defendant to obtain employment.

IDLE AND DISORDERLY.
In the Adelaide Police Court on Wednesday Lloyd Mildred pleaded guilty to a charge of being idle and disorderly. Constable Pettman deposed that the accused had been seen in the city in a half drunken condition. Drink seemed to be his trouble. Inspector Nation, who prosecuted, said Mildred came from a highly, respected family, and it was a shocking case. There had been three previous convictions. Fourteen days' imprisonment was awarded.
