The Journal (Adelaide) Saturday 4 November 1922 WYWURRIE SOCIAL CLUB. Members and friends of the KeswickWywurrie Club held a double event on Saturday last. At the invitation of Mrs. F. Will Ingerson many ladies gave a kitchen afternoon to Miss Lily Dally on the eve of her marriage. The spacious dining room was decorated with pink and white carnations and fern. Miss Dally announced the guests, who were received by Mrs. Ingerson,. A musical programme and a guessing competition provided an enjoyable afternoon. The competition was won by Mrs Kirkman, and Mrs. Hill secured a booby award. Mrs Rogers asked Miss Dally to accept the presents, and wished her happiness in the "united state." Miss Dally responded. Among those present were Mesdames J. Dally, Anderson, Norman, A. Dally, Hill, Williams, Kirkman, Wright, H. Ingerson, Rowe A. Hannam, Ellis, Clarke, W. Ingerson, Rogers, Smith Wilson, Keough, Allen, Ellis, Pettitt, Henderson, Hannam, and Niease and Misses Ivy Dally, Lily Dally, Maud Ellis, Jessie Anderson, Ivy Pettit, Edie Allen, Winnie Mitchell, and Elsie Ingerson. In the evening a house warming was thoroughly enjoyed at the invitation of Mrs. F. Will Ingerson. The prizes were won by Mrs. Henderson and Mrs. Walter Ingerson (booby) and Mr. Tregendon and Mr. Harry Ingerson (booby). The Chairman (Mr. F. K. Niase) heartily thanked Mr. and Mrs. Will Ingerson for the enjoyable evening. The hosts responded.
The Mail (Adelaide) Saturday 11 November 1922 SOCIETY NEWS and EVENTS by "Cousin Kate" The members and friends of the Keswick Wywurrie Club held a double event on Saturday last. At the invitation of Mrs F. W. Ingerson a large number of ladies met to give a kitchen afternoon to Miss Lily Dally on the eve of her marriage. The spacious dining room was beautifully decorated with pink and white carnations and fern. Miss Dally announced the guests, who were received by Mrs. Ingerson. A musical programme and a guessing competition provided an enjoyable afternoon, the prizes for the latter being won by Mrs. Kirkman and Mrs. Hill. On behalf of the ladies Mrs. Rogers asked Miss Dally to accept a great variety of useful presents, and wished the prospective bride everything possible that was good and successful. Miss Dally responded. Among those present were Mesdames J. Dally, Anderson, Norman, A. Dally, Hill, Williams, Kirkman, Wright, H. Ingerson, Rowe, A. Hannam, J. Ellis, Clarke, W. Ingerson, Rogers, Smith, Wilson, Keough, Allen, Walls, Pettitt, Henderson, Hannam, and Nieass and Misses Ivy Dally, Lily Dally, Maud Ellis, Jessie Anderson, Ivy Pettitt, Edie Allen, Winnie Mitchell, Elsie Ingerson. In the evening a housewarming was thoroughly enjoyed at the invitation of Mrs. F. W. Ingerson. Tournaments, competitions and a musical programme were thoroughly enjoyed until the early hours of the morning. The prizes were won by Mrs. Henderson and Mr. Walter Ingerson, and Mr. Tresendon and Mr. Harry Ingerson. After presented the prizes the Chairman (Mr. F. K. Nieass) thanked Mr. and Mr. Ingerson for the splendid evening given to the members of the club. The hosts suitably responded.
