BROADBENT (nee Nellie Gribble).- On the 4th September, at "Lugano," Victor Harbour, to Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Broadbent, of Whyalla- a son.

Man Pinned Under Truck: Breaks Thigh
Whyalla, May 3.
While travelling along the Cowell road from Whyalla yesterday, a cattle, truck swayed and overturned, pinning Vivian Owen Broadbent underneath it. The truck was being driven by William Jaycock. The capsize was apparently, due to the cattle moving about. Broadbent was treated by Dr. Wallace for a broken thigh. He was taken to the Whyalla casualty room and later to the Cowell Hospital.

Much loved Grandpa of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Reunited with Mum.
