Angas Engineering Exhibition:
The Public Examinations Board has recommended to the council of the University of Adelaide that Maxwell Herbert Smith be awarded the Angas Engineering Exhibition for this year. Max Smith, who is 15 has been a student at Queen's College since 1932. He has been dux of the college for the past three years, and top of his class each year since he entered the college. In the leaving examination last year he gained credits in physics and chemistry, and passed in English, Latin, and mathematics. He is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Smith, of Hughes street, Woodville. He will be the fourth generation of engineers in the Smith family connected with Smith Motor Company, Port Adelaide.
