Bell, and Gladys, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Watkins, both of Hallett, were married by the Rev. B.J. Weeding. The church was decorated with bowls of pink Easter lilies and asters by friends of the bride. Miss Audrey Miller played the organ. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was frocked in ivory georgette, moulded to the figure. The long tulle veil, forming a train, was lent by Mrs. W. Goldney, of Orroroo. She carried a sheaf of white and pink flowers. As bridesmaid, Miss Laurel Miller, of Yongala (cousin to the bride) wore an ankle length frock of blue georgette with a bandeau of blue flowers on her hair. She carried a sheaf of autumn tinted flowers. Two little trainbearers, Sylvia Watkins and Lilian Honan, were frocked alike in pink organdie with pink and blue head bands. Mr W. Bass, of Cheltenham (cousin of the bridegroom) was best man. As the bride left the church a lucky horseshoe was hung on her arm by Nita Honan. After the ceremony a small reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The bride's travelling frock was of grey sand crepe, relieved in red, with grey shoes and stockings to match. Their future home will be at Hallett.
