CHRISTIANSEN-GOWER.-On April 7, at the Methodist Church, Bayswater, by the Rev. H. Faulls, the Rev. Frederick P., second son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Christiansen, of Bayswater to Muriel Lillian, only daughter of Mr and Mrs. H.V. Gower of Francis street, Bayswater.

ln the Methodist Church, Bayswater, the marriage of Miss Muriel Gower, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Gower, of Bayswater. to the Rev. Frederick P. Christiansen, took place on Thursday, April 7, the Rev. H. Faull officiating. The church was beautifully decorated by friends of the family. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was preceded up the aisle by her little cousin, Oliver Brown, dressed in pale blue satin. The bride's frock was ivory crepe de chine, beautifully worked with silver thread, hand-made flowers and pearls. The long court train fell from the shoulders in graceful folds, finished with a silk tassel. The Brussels lace veil, worn by the bride's mother at her marriage, was trimmed with posies of orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of palest pink Easter lillies. The three bridesmaids were Miss Annie Christiansen, sister of the bridegroom, and the Misses Alice Aitken and Lily Osborn, cousins of the bride. They wore cream georgette and crepe de chine respectively, and carried polished jarrah staves with tulle bows. The bride-groom was supported by Mr. L. Gower, Mr. A. Thomas, and Mr. R. Gower. After the ceremony a reception took place at "Sandymount," Hamilton street, Bayswater. Mr. and Mrs. Gower, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Osborn, received the guests. At the breakfast the usual toasts were honored. The young couple left by motor for their honeymoon. The bride travelled In vieux rose cloth costume and black chapeau.
